The other dimension
The National Theatre is more than the sum of its productions. This is the philosophy behind “Another Dimension”, a series of events that began last year and continues in the 2007-2008 season. Its aim is to create a broader perception of what a theatre is and does – a perception that we hope will be adopted by our audiences. In addition to the artwork in Common View, which reminds us of the openness and fluidity with which the various visual arts can inform one another, the National Theatre this year offers Readings, the Cine-Theatre, Meetings, Previews and Audience discussions, capitalizing on last year’s success.
