“Foreigner”: Invisible Olga, Austras or Couch Grass
INVISIBLE OLGA (by Giannis Tsiros) A young immigrant woman becomes the victim of human trafficking and is trapped with no hope of escape from a system with no moral code. AUSTRAS or COUCH GRASS (by Lena Kitsopoulou) A group of young friends invite a tourist in Greece to visit them at home, creating tension between them and bringing about unexpected consequences. Invisible Olga is part of Emergency Entrance, an international theatre project involving the National Theatre of Greece, Teatro Garibaldi (Italy), the Habima National Theatre of Israel, the National Theatre of Prague, the Hungarian Theatre of Cluj (Romania) and Schauspielhaus Graz (Austria). Emergency Entrance is funded by the EU Culture Programme 2007-13, in partnership with the Union of the Theatres of Europe. The programme was unveiled in Cluz in December 2010, and all the productions will be performed together at the Emergency Entrance Festival in Graz, Austria from 26 to 29 January 2012.
