Dimitris Tsikouras (Tsik) was born and raised in Tyrnavos, Larissa. He lives and works in Athens. He is a graduate actor with honors from the Ministry of Culture, of the “Iakovos Kampanellis” Drama School of the Municipality of Agia Varvara (2015) and the Directing Department, also with honors, of the Drama School of the National Theater of Greece (2024). He also holds a degree in Building Renovation and Restoration Engineering from the Technological Educational Institute of Patras (2010). He has also taken courses in dance theater, contemporary dance, singing, and music.
As a director, he has worked on the performance γΥναι, which was presented at the Ergo Collective space in Athens. In addition, he has directed the performance 9 or 10 Wolfs/ Let's Tell a Fairy Tale, as part of his graduate performance at the Drama School of the National Theater of Greece, as well as the monologue Mothers Never Get Sick at the Omega Stage of the Municipal Theater of Piraeus.
As an actor and/or dancer, he has collaborated with the Vakhtangov Theater in Moscow and Rimas Tuminas, under the auspices of the National Theater of Greece, in the play Oedipus Tyrannus. With Max Cencic in opera performances (Alessandro nell 'Indie and Flavio) that have been presented at the Baroque Opera Festival in Bayreuth, Germany. With Chiara Guidi Socìetas at the Ancient Theater of Dodona with the performance The Land of Earthworms. With the Thessalian Theater of Greece in performances by Thanasis Chalkias (Under Control), Rubini Moschochoriti (From Marriage to Divorce), Kostas Filippoglou (Odyssey), Eleni Boza (The taming of the Shrew) and Kyriaki Spanou, in a radio performance (The Woman and the Mistake). With Sofia Paschou and the Patari Project in the performance PETER PAN Always a Child.  With Roula Pateraki at the Municipal Theater of Piraeus in the play The General Makes a Ruckus in the Square. With Yiannis Andreadis at the Little Theater of Ancient Epidaurus in the play Cyclops Survival. With Kostas Ferris at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus (Herodion) in the play Rebetiko Mystery. With Antonia Oikonomou in numerous dance theater performances such as the trilogy Corpo – To the Abbys – Holly Father (Contemporary Theater) based on Alighieri's Divine Comedy, in the performance Dear Absence Farewell (Eirini Papa Stage of the National Theater), Prova Generale (PLYFA), etc.
More generally, in addition to the above, from 2011 to the present, he has collaborated with directors and choreographers such as: Michalis Marmarinos, Tasos Karachalios, Themis Moumoulidis, Nikos Diamantis, Nostalgia Theater Group, diZgravity dancetheater Company, Footsteps Dance Company, Vasilis Kontaxis, Artemis Ignatiou, and others.
