Gary is a composer, producer and performer who writes music for theatre, film and TV, as well as composing new original concert works, and writing, recording and performing with his experimental collective, Capac. He studied popular music at Liverpool university and completed his MA in composition for film, theatre and performing arts at the Ionian university, before studying composition with Kornilios Selamsis at the National Theatre of Greece. Based in Athens, Greece, his recent theatre and live performance works include pieces at the National Theatre of Greece, Athens & Epidaurus Festival, Onassis Foundation, The Greek National Opera, Athens Concert Hall and Eleusis ECOC 2023. His international touring includes appearances at the National Theatre of Korea, Sarajevo International Theatre Festival “MESS” (Bosnia), Istanbul Theatre Festival (Turkey), Maxim Gorki Theatre (Berlin, Germany), Eurothalia European Theatre Festival (Timișoara ECOC 2023, Romania), Radikal Jung Festival (Munich, Germany) and MOT International Theatre Festival (Skopje, North Macedonia). He has appeared at major U.K. festivals including BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend, Field Day and The Great Escape and has presented live sound installations at London V&A, Liverpool Biennial and Tate Liverpool.
