Katerina Vlahbey

Katerina Vlahbey studied Architecture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Czech Technical University in Prague (CVUT). She works in the fields of architecture, scenography, and graphic design.
She began her professional practice in Amsterdam at the architecture studio Urban Echoes, where she explored new approaches to urbanism through the lenses of sustainability and inclusivity. Upon returning to Greece, she worked as an assistant scenographer alongside architect and scenographer Eva Mnidaki, contributing to theatre productions such as Medea by Bost, directed by Giannis Kalavrianos (2022); A Night at Epidaurus, written by Lena Kitsopoulou and directed by Nikos Karathanos (2023); Hippolytus, directed by Katerina Evangelatos (2023); and King Lear, directed by Yannis Houvardas (2023).
Her work has been presented in festivals, publications and platforms in Greece and abroad, including: MOMus – Museum of Contemporary Art, Thessaloniki (2023); Film and Video Poetry Symposium, Los Angeles, California (2020); Choreographic Turn(s), Nomad Dance Academy, Slovenia (2020); and the Aeschylia Festival, Eleusis (2019).
