Manos Vavadakis
Manos Vavadakis grew up in Heraklion, Crete. Graduated from the National Theatre of Greece Drama School (2013). He studied Political Science at Panteion University (2008), from where he holds a master’s degree in History (2012). As an actor he has collaborated with Akyllas Karazisis, Chr. Theodoridis, D. Theodoridou, Ar. Laskos, G. Tsouris, G. Valais, G. Zamboulakis, Ek. Lygizos and Vassilis Papavasiliou.
He has directed the plays: Salem (Thision, 2016), Georges Feydeau, Le Dindon (Tempus Verum, 2017), The Big Bed, a variety show (National Theatre of Greece’s Experimental Stage, 2017-18), Alfred Jarry, Ubu Roi (National Theatre of Greece’s Experimental Stage, 2018), Jose Triana, La Noche de los Asesinos (THNK, 2019), Pericles Korovesis, The Method (Greek Art Theatre Karolos Koun, 2019-20), Roger Vitrac, Victor ou les enfants au pouvoir (Sfendoni, 2020), Georgios Chortatzis, Panoria (Municipal and Regional Theatre of Crete, 2021), Catherine Anne, TITA – LOU (Cultural Center of Heraklion, 2023), CHIMES AT MIDNIGHT/The Merry Wives of Windsor (Greek Art Theatre Karolos Koun, 2023), LIGHT.
