Melina Konti

Melina Konti was born in Athens in 1994. She graduated from the Greek Art Theatre Karolos Koun Drama School (2022) and she is also a graduate from the Communication and Mass Media department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2017). She started her dance training with ballet at the age of four and by the time she was eighteen she had been trained in contemporary, jazz, latin, tango, hip-hop, commercial, flamenco and traditional greek dances. She worked for ten years as a professional dancer with distinguished Greek artists alongside the American choreographer Chali Jennings. In theater she has participated in the performances of NINE by Arthur Kopit directed by Yiannis Kakleas (2015-2016), Victor Victoria by Blake Edwards and Hercules: the twelve labours written by Stratis Paschalis and adapted by Giannis Lignadis, both directed by Apollon Papatheocharis with whom she cooperated in many musical performances. On television she played in the series Gi tis Elias directed by Andreas Georgiou (MEGA, 2022-2024) and the series Paixnidia Ekdikisis directed by Alekos Kyranis (ANT1, 2024-2025). In 2018 she attended the Drama Summer School-Musical Theatre course in Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. She has been taking vocal lessons since 2014.
