Nikoleta Xenariou
Nikoleta Xenariou is a graduate of the State School of Dance ( Athens, GR) and of the Rotterdam Academy of Dance, BA of Dance (NL). As a performer she has collaborated with choreographers and directors such as Konstantinos Rigos (NTNG Dance Theater, National Theater), Sofia Mavragani (Fingersix / athens), Amalia Bennet, (NTNG), Argyro Chioti (Vasistas), Eleni Georgopoulou (Polis Theatre Company), Maria Gorgia (Amalgama), Mihail Marmarinos & Gemma Handson Carbonne (Eleusis Cultural Capital of Europe 2023). She was the movement coordinator in a number of theatre performances. She co-creates improvisation performances and stage experiments with musicians and other artists. Since 2007 she has been teaching movement and improvisation at “Delos” Drama School. In December 2018 she taught in the course "Methods of Technical Preparation of the Actor, Theory and Practice" of the Postgraduate Program "Theater and Society: Theory, Stage Practice and Teaching" at the Department of Theatrical Studies of the University of Peloponnese. She is a founding member of “Common Era” company based in Aegina and a member of organizing team of "Tsak Bam Festival - a spontaneous festival of contemporary art". She has been living in Aegina since 2012 and is a mother of two children.
