Tobias Klett, born in 1994, grew up in Munich, with family roots in Czechoslovakia and Italy. In 2014, he began his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig. In 2017, he received a scholarship from the German Academic Scholarship Foundation and worked freelance for Spector Books. In 2019, he published Weltall Erde Mensch #23, which earned a sponsorship prize and an honors diploma at Best Book Design from all over the World. He graduated with an honors diploma from the Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig the same year. Since 2019, Tobias has worked as a freelance performance and media artist, including the performance Anspannung at Bauhaus Dessau. In 2020, he enrolled at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts. In 2021, he directed Hollow Man and, in 2023, Metamorphosen. That year, he also served as an assistant to Susanne Kennedy on Angela and The Work at the Volksbühne Berlin. In 2024, he directed Acting. Lost Highway at TD Berlin and graduated with an honors diploma from Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts. In 2025, he will be an artist-in-residence at the National Theatre of Greece in Athens.
