The house of the artist Nikos Hadjikyriakos-Ghika opens its doors to welcome writers of the interwar generation to a unique celebration of poetry and prose that continue to inspire and move us.
9 March 1963: At the home of Giorgos Theotokas, twelve eminent representatives of the Greek literary world sign a sheet of paper with the heading “The generation of 1930 after 33 years!” When was this term first established? Why did writers who first appeared in the 1930s feel the need to redefine themselves thirty years on?
