ON TOUR

Theatre Express, the National Theatre of Greece’s ground-breaking scheme in partnership with the Athens Urban Transport Organisation (OASA), supported by Road Transport (OSY), is continuing and expanding this year.

Theatre Express will meet audiences in various neighbourhoods, inviting them to enter the world of the theatre and transporting them with its magic! On its travels, the Theatre Express bus will motivate theatregoers while exploring new avenues of escapism.

The NTG and OASA present Stories on the road, hilarious tales about the first attempts to establish the Greek state and its capital, and about its people, customs and traditions.

The relationship between the past and the present is ingeniously and entertainingly highlighted by the set inside the Theatre Express bus. This original, inspired and highly engaging production combines sweet memories of yesteryear with a forward-looking vision, based on stories and humorous writings by Vassilis Attikos.
