One of the few 19th-century plays still performed to this day, Babylonia is a time machine taking us back to 1827 and the heart of multicultural Nafplion, the seat of the Greel government. Directly after the victory of the allied forces at the Battle of Navarino, which paved the way for the birth of the new state, Greeks from various parts of the country have come together to celebrate the event. However, the misunderstandings caused by their use of different local dialects leads to a suspected crime - as well as plenty of hilarity!
