Last June, the first theatre workshop at Korydallos Prison resulted in a production of Shakespeare’s Tempest, which was an extraordinary experience for participants and spectators.
Continuing its collaboration with the Ministry of Justice’s General Secretariat for Criminal Policy and Korydallos Prison, the workshop will this year draw its inspiration from the writer Anton Chekhov, and in May will perform an adaptation of his novella ‘Ward No. 6’ at the prison.
The scheme will be accompanied by other events concerning the writer and his works.
