In the two centuries of the modern Greek state, our choices at crucial moments have determined our history, impacting on our lives in ways we could never once have imagined. These key events, with their disputed consequences and interpretations, will be illuminated in a series of seven performances intended to spark a debate about our current identity.

A history of loans

Four bankruptcies (as many as seven, according to some) since the founding of the modern Greek state! There were many losers, some winners. Is our current situation another bankruptcy? The motifs are all too familiar…
