The National Theatre of Greece on the Board of the European Theatre Convention.

At elections held at the Romanian National Theatre of Timisoara on 11 November, during the International Theatre Conference (9-12 November) a new ETC Board of Directors was elected. Claudia Belchior, the Artistic Advisor at the Centro Cultural de Belém in Lisbon, Portugal, took over the presidency. The Head of Drama, Archive, Library and International Collaborations at the National Theatre of Greece, Dr. Irene Moundraki, was elected a member of the Board of Directors.
Founded in 1988, the ETC is the largest network of theatre organisations in Europe. Numbering more than 64 members in 31 countries, it reflects the diversity and plurality of the theatre community in Europe and promotes European theatre as a vitally important platform for dialogue, democracy and communication, while advancing an inclusive view of theatre that brings the social, linguistic and cultural heritage of Europe to communities inside and outside the continent. The National Theatre of Greece became a member of the ETC in the spring of 2022.
The Executive Director of the ETC is Heidi Wiley.
