This summer, we return to Epidaurus. At the National Theatre of Greece we know that times are hard. That’s why we are organising coaches to and from the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus at a cost of €12.50.
Book in good time to watch Bost’s Medea, directed by Giannis Kalavrianos (8 & 9 July) and/or Sophocles’ Ajax, directed by Argyris Xafis (29 & 30 July).
There will be theatre experts on the coaches who will present and explain the plays.
The offer expires 48 hours before the day of the performance.

How to get to the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus by coach
- Gather at the entrance to the Rex Theatre (48 Panepistimiou St.) at 16:00, where National Theatre of Greece staff will be waiting, along with theatre guides who will present and explain the plays on the trip.
- You will not be asked to board the coaches by name but by showing your ticket for the journey. The coaches will arrive in stages and you will queue to board them.
- After boarding, your ticket for the journey will be marked with the number of the coach on which you are travelling. You must retain your ticket and use the same coach for your return. Coaches will depart Epidaurus 30 minutes after the end of the performance.
- The coaches will depart from the Rex Theatre (48 Panepistimiou St.) at 16:15.
Note: Once the coach ticket has been purchased, your seat on the coach is automatically booked.

Note: the coach tickets and the tickets for the two National Theatre of Greece summer productions at Epidaurus are independent of one another. You do not have to purchase a discounted ticket package to book a seat on the coach to and from Epidaurus, and vice versa.
