The National Theatre of Greece: An Open World
With 17 new productions and two shows returning from last year, the National Theatre of Greece is delighted to open its doors for the 2024-25 season. With iconic plays from the global repertoire but also original works by new creators, with a contemporary take on classic dramas as well a series of Modern Greek Plays at the NTG this season, and with bold personal narratives alongside productions that touch on critical social issues, the country’s flagship theatre presents its artistic and educational programme with the vision of an Open World.
