As part of a new policy that makes the Kotopouli-Rex Theatre a platform for dialogue with the other arts, the National presents a production based on Dostoevsky’s novel, which is directed and has original music by its assistant artistic director, Thodoris Abazis.

Twelve actors, five musicians and an opera singer all come together on stage in a mosaic of different arts to perform a theatrical oratorio.
